Ballarat Local Food Forum, Monday 13th February 2013

Register for the Ballarat Local Food Forum

The Ballarat Local Food Forum is coming up in just two weeks.  Up to a hundred local food people – producers, distributors, retailers, restauranteurs, community groups, health professionals, and others – will be gathering out at Lucas for a full day unconference to connect with each other, understand our local food system and create opportunities to support local producers and make sure everyone in Ballarat has access to local, sustainable, and healthy food.

The day will also feature a local lunch, put together by Kittelty‘s with produce from Ballarat’s backyard veggie gardens and support from a range of local food producers.

The Ballarat Local Food Forum is being run as part of the national Sustainable Living Festival and is sponsored by the City of Ballarat and Ballarat Community Health Centre.

Registrations are open and it’s just $30 for the full day ($10 concession).  Please join us for an inspiring and productive day of local food, collabaration, and ideas.

We’ll see you there!

Local food, sustainable, community, producers, system, collaboration, etc.

As a taste of what to expect… we asked people what they wanted to get out of the Ballarat Local Food Forum. Here’s what they said.
